A Democrat candidate for governor in Connecticut gave the audience an eyeful Monday night when she crashed a debate for invited candidates, then refused to leave the stage under a police escort.
And getting dragged off bodily was just the touch the whole act needed.
The festivities started when Lee Whitnum, a perennial candidate who appears to be the kind of whiner the Democrat Party attracts these days, appeared on the stage of a debate organized by the Brookfield Democratic Town Committee.
Whitnum had not been invited to attend the event, according to Fox 61, for reasons that soon became obvious.
When she took a seat at the table, the other candidates got up and left, leaving the show to Whitnum — and the police officers who soon showed up to give her the hook.
Let’s just say she didn’t go quietly.

Wow is right. I had no idea anybody in the Donk party was allowed to declare that DWS is corrupt.
The ultra fringe is flaking off from the fringe. Awesome. We need more of this.
She is totally in the right here. She filed as a candidate in the party and there’s no reason that she should be arbitrarily, not by the voters, blacked out.
Kudos to her for standing up to a corrupt system and making it show its true colors.

Good point, who sponsored the event? If the party, then they should allow all. Wonder what their criteria for the event was that allowed them to skip people. Was she the only one not invited?

That is the funniest thing I’ve seen all year! It looked and sounded like a SNL skit. I can see Melissa McCarthy in a blond wig playing that part perfectly.
The part where she sank to the floor like a child in the grocery store was hilarious.
The other side of the coin is this lady has some severe emotional issues, and I think her gun collection (if she has one) may come under close scrutiny one day. She was all dressed up, with no particular place to go!

Gator, the question I have is just how different than the rest of the RATs on stage was she? I mean the current “governor” of CT on a good day isn’t much better than this loon apart from not having to clutch his desk to avoid arrest.
That are several women already in congress that would compare.
Not exactly what the article or the comments have built up to be the case, she walked in calmly, sat down and repeatedly said she was a declared Democrat candidate, had filed over a year ago and she had every right to be there. When the officers came to haul her off, she first held onto the table, then just laid down, all the while saying she was a declared candidate with every right to be there and how dare you try to exclude me, a declared candidate. No hysterics, she knew what she was walking into.
What is a fringe democrat? The statement seems redundant.
