All I can do is shake my head in disbelief that people are only just now coming to that realization. If people had noticed 30 years ago, there might have been a chance of fixing it.
I have to admit that I was wildly naïve about our government and paid little attention to anything much more than a headline. Even then though, if someone had said, “our politicians are corrupt and the our system abused,” I doubt that I would have believed it.
Those were the day when I wasn’t a cynic. The US government was created by geniuses and now run by evil, greedy and self-serving people who are relatively stupid, cunning and devious, but mostly stupid.
