All Nunes can do is refer DOJ officials to the whole House for a majority vote on whether to hold someone in contempt. If there is a majority vote for contempt, it’s referred to the DOJ for possible prosecution as a misdemeanor.

Nunes said he is seeking to impeach RR & Wray if they don’t comply. And what makes you think he would only do it only one time? We are talking about over 1 million documents here. The last thing the GOPe and coup plotters want is daily beltway theater on this subject on the eve of the midterms. Guaranteed.

That Nunes is still aggressively pursuing this after taking some many nukes should tell you he is playing for keeps here. Underestimate him at your own risk.

Is Kevin McCarthy better than Paul Ryan?

I agree with you 100 percent. The Dems will easily flip that seat.

It takes a vote of 67 Senators to remove an impeached official from office.

Of course. But a Senate vote only after an elaborate spectacle that the GOPe will never want to go through lest it expose their complicity in the coup to the sleeping electorate. Nunes has the ability to play hardball here. Don’t underestimate him.

Nope. When the Speaker of the Incumbent party resigns as Ryan is doing it means one thing:

There's about to be a political butt whipping in November.

Will WE be there for them in November?

I will be.

I am determined to fight against the present Democrat party..... in every manner that I can......because I KNOW what those people will do to the President's agenda, and our country, should they get back in power.

It was Ryan's butt that was going to be "whipped" out of the Speakers spot because he kept screwing up.

He's just leaving while he's "on top" so he doesn't suffer the humiliation of being replaced like Boehner.

No doubt, that is why they are throwing everything, and the kitchen sink at Trump right now ...

Remember, even when the principle (i.e. Senator or Congressman) leaves, most of the staff remains to work somewhere and with someone else on the Hill. The result is a continuation of the deep state thinking that has been going on for so long and continuation of liberal thinking.

Before WWII. There is no GOP. It is the RNC: RINOpublican National Committee.

While Ryan and Boehner have been ineffective, open democrats would be even worse. We have to win those districts in November.
