No. You’re missing my point. If there was a cop doing that, once he knew he was under investigation by IAB, he’ll resign or retire. Then you have to go after him criminally. The fact that neither Strozk nor Page has done that, makes me wonder whether or not they are cooperating. If they are, that’s reason enough to keep them around.
I’ve done work for government entities for 40 years. I have seen plenty thrown out in the street until the investigation is completed. They will get paid but have no access to any thing.
