With any decent level of support for President Trump, the GOP would find itself in a dominant majority position.
Instead, they've been acting like cowards —and globalists—while the President dragged several of their ass-s across the finish line in 2016.
President Trump's greatest threat certainly isn't the People—it's the swamp. They'd all like to get rid of him and go back to business as usual. The People—regardless of political persuasion—should be well aware by now of the fact that letting Washington DC return to business as usual is the last thing any citizen should want.
I think that if the President can frame this struggle as the People vs. the Swamp—in other words, what it really is—he will be able to survive any challenge. But he will need to be on top of his game. If there's really no plan, he's likely to fail. If there is a plan, let's hope he's been thinking ahead all along.
One President can't do this alone. He will need the People behind him, as well as many in his party. I'm not as worried about the former as I am the latter...
