That chemical attack was so weird. It seemed to affect only children. Maybe I didn’t see it all?
The surrounded ISIS remnants have taken civilians hostage, naturally. Apparently they rigged up a house to serve as a gas chamber and herded hostages into it, making sure to include many children. They surmised this sacrifice of children would score points with the elite and buy some additional time for themselves in this life, and give them higher status in their next life in Hell.
War is a savage enterprise and it rewards savagery. We who lead “normal” lives have no clue.
US policy is constant destabilization of Syria as long as Assad and the Russians are in charge. Children dead in a gas attack is simply an opportunity to further prosecute the policy. Doesn’t matter who actually did it, not in the least. It happened (or was fabricated) in Syria so the policy requires that it be exploited fully.
