Have you all considered the possibility that maybe POTUS had to push things to the brink with Russia in order to get them to cooperate with regards to Iran?

Certainly, and now that we are at the Brink, PDJT says he WILL attack, and The Russians say they WILL counter attack, we are at Put Up or Shut Up.

It is PDJT's right to SAY he will attack, and he is the Legally Elected President of the United States.

The American Electorate, albeit, the American People (including me), are responsible for his actions, and PDJT will do what he will do.

Whatever happens now, there will be consequences, and they will fall as God ordains.

What I’m suggesting is that now that tensions have ratcheted up, POTUS is in a position to deescalate - for a price (i.e. help us with Iran).

The fact that the evidence against Assad is ambiguous actually helps POTUS’s bargaining position.
