will say this though ... I thought the midterms were going to be a cakewalk for the Rs after 2016. These wounds are self inflicted by the GOPe. People saying that the GOPe wants the Dems to win aren’t crackpot conspiracy theorists ... they’re 100% right.

I've been saying that the GOPe wants the Dims to win the House so that they will impeach Trump. And because of that, Trump won't run for reelection. Which paves the way for Ryan and Romney to run for POTUS in 2020.

But like you also said, a lot can happen between now and November.
