“A civil war cannon is frankly much less dangerous than weapons we are allowed to carry on the streets in many of the states and cities in our country today,” Foster said.

Nope. It’s settled law. A term they so love to use. If Heller isn’t “settled”, then neither is Roe, Brown, etc.

The 2nd Amendment was written to allow citizens to have the same weapons as those that sought to tyrannize them. It's not about muskets, it's about maintaining our liberty.

A moron that obviously never toured Gettysburg and listen to the Park Rangers speak on the Civil War!

I do not understand how anyone could vote for a person so lacking in logic and understanding of the Constitution and what it stands for.

There is no description anywhere in the Constitution describing a weapon or limiting either the number of or design of weapons men may own.

Flintlock? Barrel length? Concealed? How much powder in the horn?

Not in the Constitution.

Because the Constitution is not about weapons, It is bout human nature and specifically about the insatiable desire of men of certain character to rule their brethren to their own advantage.

The compulsion to rule others to one’s own benefit has existed since the earliest man and will always exist and is only controlled by the rule of law and those who respect the rule of law.

Our real rule of law, because it is our guide as to how to write and enforce lesser laws, is our Constitution.

Those who do not respect our Constitution should be impeached on the spot.
