If President Trump’s definition of Assad as a “Gas Killing Animal” is based on those videos released over the weekend, let me quote from Peter Hitchens February 25th column.
“Just bear in mind as you read the latest propaganda from Syria-always beautifully composed pictures of wounded children in the arms of gentle, unarmed young men-that the “rebels” and “activists” in the suburbs of Damascus are the people we used to call Al Qaeda. That is, they are the ones who blew up the Twin Towers. But Al Qaeda has now got some very good spin doctors, and they’re trying to spin you. I urge you to resist”
I guess Trump isn’t resisting because the Saudi backers of the Al Qaeda “gas attack victim videos” were his buddies doing the “sword dance” when he visited last year.
And the Saudi backers are investing in American infrastructure and buying American weapons.
So the “Foreign Legion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” led by Commander in Chief Donald J. Trump is about to unleash its missiles on Syria.
May the Lord have mercy.........

It is a cool mplicated situation with many competing interests.
Trump knows more than we do, and he is very good at seeing the best path to his endgame.
The rest is just opinion and bluster from his critics.
