It’s time for Trump to fire Mueller, and Rosenstein, and their whole band of thieves and traitors. This has gone on too long. Trump called it a “witch hunt” and a “disgrace”. Those words barely begin to describe the appalling abuse of government power here.

Because any man with honor or self-esteem would have recognized an inescapable third option and submitted his resignation moments after Trump's nationally broadcast press interview.

Couldn’t he (Pence) preside over a Senate session and then put the Senate in recess? Depends on the rules, but I admire your thinking. This is a time for strong but proper action, even if it offends anti-Trump RINO's. (The RINO's most likely wouldn't back him in an impeachment/conviction scenario in any event.)
