If Sikhism had started in the mid 1800’s they would have to carry around a ceremonial GUN along with their KIRPANS ( Knives)!
I read somewhere that in the 1950’s, a student at Oxford dug up a school rule still in effect that entitled him to a free pint of beer before finals. The school grudgingly agreed, gave him a pint, and then fined him for not wearing a sword. I wonder if this rule still exists.
