Easter is a pagan day brought into the church by Rome in the 4th century. . .

Russians use the word "Easter," too.

"Lent" just means "spring" in some version of Anglo-Saxon. Names of things are not particularly important over the centuries, and calendar days wander with changes in measurements of the stars. It's the teaching and the habits of the people that give holy days their life.

It's unfortunate that they use the word Easter for First Fruits. Easter comes from the wife of Nimrod, Semiramis. She calls herself the mother of heaven or the mother of god. Museums are full of depictions of Madonna and child, thousands of years older than when Mary was alive. Semiramis was known in other cultures under the name of Isis in Egypt, Astarte and Ashteroth in the Bible, Venus, Diana, and others in Greek and Roman cultures. There are probably 20 different names she is known by in pagan religions. It's believed she appeared on a river bank in and egg and bunnies were the sign of fertility. Eggs were dyed with the blood of the babies that were sacrificed to Baal or Molech( Nimrod), and the story just gets worse from there.

Anyone can "Google "Easter" and get the same message. When Rome took the church in the 4th century, all these pagan concepts were mixed into the church. The Sunrise service commemorates the worship of the Sun God on Sunday. Leviticus 23 tells us First Fruits is the day Jesus rose from the tomb, if He was killed on Passover. Jesus is said to be the First Fruit of the dead.

Celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus on a pagan day is just a shame. We have been given the Lords days to celebrate in Leviticus 23. We are told the Sabbath is on the 7th day. That is Saturday in all calendars I know of. The Roman church changed the calendars and moved away from the Hebrew calendar. Why do that? Satan wants to confuse God's children. We don't even know when God will do something because we won't read the Word of God. The church at Rome follows the religion of Babylon of Nimrod and Semiramis. Tammuz is the baby celebrated on Dec 25th. Jesus was born on Tabernacles. Even if you don't agree with that, we are told to celebrate Sukkot to acknowledge God coming to live with His people. Jesus was celebrating Tabernacles when He stood and shouted "I am the light of the world". He never celebrated Easter or Christmas. He celebrated Chanukah in John 10:22 at the Feast of dedication and that wasn't even started until the book of Maccabees.

If you convert the Hebrew calendar to the Julian calendar, today, Apr 7th-8th 2018, is the proper day to acknowledge the resurrection of Jesus. How the Eastern Orthodox church got there, I don't know, but they are celebrating the right day. If next year, the calendar changes the celebration to another day than what Leviticus 23 says about First Fruits, then we know it was an accident that the day fell on the right day. You can go back many years and see that Easter hardly ever falls on Passover, Unleavened Bread, or First Fruits. We are making a choice to observe the wrong days when anyone can get a calendar that has the Hebrew Feast Days marked on them. We make an even bigger choice to celebrate bunnies and eggs with a sunrise service on Sunday, a pagan day to worship the sun god. This IS the religion of Babylon written about in Revelation as the Whore of Babylon. It is also the church written to in Rev 2 at Thyatira. Thyatira was the daughter of Nimrod and Semiramis. In Scripture, Daughters, women or females are religions. A daughter is a break off of the mother.
