Which is absurd, since not only does the prof not have any final deterministic standard for what is evil, but based on common standard atheist governments or who like the prof, define what is moral based upon their own exalted moral reasoning, have murdered and oppressed far more people in proportion to their numbers.

At least in religion you have a supreme moral standard to how the professors to, even if there is some room for interpretation. In atheism, what being moral means sees very disparate judgments, based upon themselves as being supreme.
I don’t think this “professor” is pitting “evil” Christianity over against atheism, more like pitting “evil” Christianity over against the eastern religions of southeast Asia.
The reason he is so against Christianity, is it is “objective.” Well, what does he think he is doing with his southeast Asia religions? He’s very objective about them, he holds them to be the truth, as opposed to Christianity.
