Yes, Facebook is reading the messages you send through Messenger

In an interview with Vox’s Ezra Klein, Zuckerberg noted that Facebook’s system is capable of detecting “what’s going on” in the Messenger app. He added that when “sensational messages” are found, “We stop those messages from going through.”

Of course, this raised significant questions about the extent to which Facebook monitors its popular chatting app, and later, the company told Bloomberg that although

Messenger conversations are considered private, “Facebook scans them and uses the same tools to prevent abuse there that it does on the social network more generally.”

...

“For example, on Messenger, when you send a photo, our automated systems scan it using photo matching technology to detect known child exploitation imagery or when you send a link, we scan it for malware or viruses,”

I knew that. FB is a scam. It claims to be free but it is not. You offer up your personal information to suckerburg who makes billions off it.

ANY OTHER SECRET PLANS FOR OUR DATA, ZUCK?

We learned belatedly that Facebook sent a doctor on a secret mission to ask hospitals to share patients’ confidential health data.

The story for public consumption is Facebook asked several major U.S. hospitals to share anonymized data about their patients (illnesses and prescription info), for a “proposed research project.” Facebook “said” it intended to match it up with user data it had collected, so it could “help” the hospitals figure out which patients might need special care or treatment.

This is so much BS......language designed to paper over another one of many of Facebook’s nefarious activities.

As we have learned to our dismay, the public Facebook-—all sweetness and light—— “says” one thing for public consumption, but behind the scenes is a different story.

REALITY CHECK-—Facebook was possibly colluding with Obama to mine data for the O/Care atrocity, perhaps to provide intel to O/Care’s Death Panels.

Why isnt Maxine Waters being subpoenaed. She blabbed about Obama having a data base on all of us .....to be used exclusively by Demomcrat candidates

Here’s a stunning clue on how Obama’s data base might have gotten started.

(hat tip edzo4)
Circa 2017 Zuckerberg referred to a dinner he and other Silicon Valley leaders had about “a month ago.”

Now here’s the news article edzo4 dug up
http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2017/03/13/former-president-obama-visits-with-tech-leaders-in-silicon-valley/

Back in 2011, Obama was on a mission in California. At that time it was not revealed who Obama was meeting with
during his visit to San Jose; as a private citizen, Obama is not obligated to say.

The relentless edzo4 found this photo of the dinner from the Mercury News
https://www.mercurynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/20110218_094437_obama_tech.jpg?w=700

And edzo4 found this blog that mentioned the attendees
https://kellblog.com/2011/02/19/seating-chart-for-president-obamas-silicon-valley-tech-titans-dinner/

ATTENDEES: Obama, and Silicon bigwigs Larry Ellison, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Eric Schmidt, Reed Hastings.

I have never been on Face Book but I do agree with the Little Nerd founder when he says whatever is put on Face Book is done knowing it is a public forum. So what is all the whining about. There will always be someone who can find ways of aggregating the information for their own purposes.

And Google reads all your gmail.com email.

Use Outlook.com. At least Microsoft has in their terms that they won't read your email.

When in doubt, if you are wondering if someone is listening in on you, just start talking about the contents of your last bowel movement. You know, color, consistency, duration, expulsion speed, etc. They love diarrhea stories. If you clue your friend in first, he or she can enjoy describing theirs also. Baby diapers!

I proved this myself

I one sent several messages on Facebook messenger,
for something I would NEVER had searched for or clicked on or any way interacted with before.

Specifically, I asked about ballroom dancing lessons

Within days I started getting emails from dance instruction videos and schools.

Holy moley. That should be illegal. Matching patients with FB customers/victims. If that doesn’t violate HIIPPA what does?
