The spectacle of an invasion justifies even more so the need for the military on the border. If you think the military is going to be deployed at the border to stop border crossings you will be deeply disappointed.
If the president declared a buffer zone along the border was under Martial Law then you could believe they would make a difference, but he won't and they won't.
