At this point I don't give a flying fadoodle about "optics." This is our country and it's well past time to assert our rights. We've militarily defended about every other border in the free world. If we don't defend our own we'd better stop pretending we're a sovereign nation.

Perfectly stated, and I agree with every word.
At this point I don’t care.
I totally get that.
But the people organizing and paying this hoard don’t care if they are shot down at the border. The machinations behind this event WANT mother’s holding babies to be shot.
I wish I was a good enough person that I cared more about them. I feel guilty that I don’t.
I just don’t want President Trump to be blamed if the you know what hits the fan.
