I have always thought troops (NG for example) should be deployed
to our Southern Border - in the wake of 9/11/2001 if nothing else.

I thought the closer route would be South Texas but the article linked above
indicates the following.

said. By then, he said, the migrants — most of whom are Honduran — will
have heard from American and Mexican lawyers about the asylum processes in both countries.

The goal, at first glance, is either Nogales, Yuma or Mexicali.

There is no way Tijuana is the destination - they would just hit the t***y bars and blend into the local population.

No, Nogales makes the most sense -- unless they specifically want to embarass Martinez - they'll avoid NM (and obv, Texas).

The Dems are predictable here viz optix - Nogales makes the most sense - it's one of the key damn coyote pipelines anyway, and the 'downtown' is slim, with the urban corridor rolling due south - there are any number of hills just literally a mile east or west of town that a tent city could be set up and key best optix of CNN/MSM.

Ducey is way close to McCrisis, but he signed on early with Trump/Pence and could actually enhance his political aspirations IF we have enough goddamn prior planning!

But if they are truly going for Cali? Pull out the stops.

I think I know what the deal is - the globalists are done. They're done waiting. They're done with trying to work the stalemated legislative angle, done with dragging around with courts, lawyers, judges, lawsuits, done with the astroturf protests - done messing around with working through the standard legal and political process channels in the US. Trump has tightened up immigration more than anyone else has in years, isn't going to be bought or bullied by typical means like anyone else would have. So out comes the nuclear option - they've evidently exhausted their standard go-to options and are intending to cram through and get their replacement population just like they're doing in Europe. This first bunch is a probe - how it goes will be watched in detail, to study what works and what doesn't, make adjustments accordingly to help make each subsequent invasion go smoother and smoother. Unless a strategy can be devised to throw scrap into the gears of their machinery, it's going to get exponentially worse.
