I remember Carter well. It was the first Presidential in which I could vote. I did not vote for him.

In the late 70’s I had a very good construction job. So did my family members and many people I knew.

His 20% interest rates on home loans stopped it absolutely dead. It was devastating.

I remember being in Seattle being allowed to buy three bucks worth of gas every other day.

He was the worst POS I have ever seen in politics. And he spent his years going around the world helping and admiring every POS communist and dictator he could find.

How absolutely disgusting that he would drag his corpse out of the morgue and go on Colbert and bash the best leader I have ever seen. Don’t these miserable old pricks ever take a dirt nap??

Yeah, here in Seattle it was a constant scramble to find gas stations that even had any gas.

I remember one down on Aurora that was near a rather sketchy greenhouse.
