First off, you're above silly direct insults. You seem to have a pretty good handle on things; suggest refraining from reactive posts.

Here's the thing - I was a very early Trump adopter: first rally in 2015. But, the questions we had then still remain, ignored due to the urgency of the threat to the republic.

Question 1: how do we actually know what Trump was/wasn't doing in terms of managing his businesses eg meeting payroll?

Question 2: more loaded, no one wants to go there - Reagan had his 'kitchen cabinet'. Long time friends, associates and supporters, dozens, hundreds in fact, willing to go to bat and defend/consult. Where are Trump's? It's like Hussein - a cipher, with no past other than chicks, BKs and media.

Now, I couldn't possibly give a sh!t about any of that if we saw results. I'm still on the fence with respect to Sessions. I'm the least dogmatic person around - I assess everything, both sides, and measure, think, consider. The bottom line is, Trump is going to have to act; time is running out.

What kind of support does he have? Is his failure to seize the initiative an accurate measure of his lack of support? Why does he suffer this - what do insiders know that we don't?

There you go again. I was simply responding to a gratuitous insult directed at POTUS. He’s the first man in American history elected to that post with no military or political experience. If that doesn’t vouch for his abilities nothing does.

I think it’s pretty clear the “Trump is a moron” Never Trump poison has infected his admin. Everybody knows better than Trump and he is unable to find loyal lieutenants. Tillerson, Mattis, etc. All undermine the President’s policy agenda. That is a recipe for disaster and combined with Congressional opposition from his own party it makes near impossible for him to govern.

We saw with the omnibus bill that Trump is not superman. I expect more of the same as long as the Mueller soft coup continues.

Are you so far on the outside -- or with your head in an insulating space so far -- that you actually don't understand where Trump's power and support resides?

With what sort of people does he surround himself? For whom did he just take a "YUGE" hit? Who is building the WALL? Who turned Lil' Fat Nork-kid's head around backward?

There are "insiders" on FR -- quite a few -- if you're not too bullheaded to seek their counsel and join the conversation.

Sadly, there are some FReepers who are going to be as gobsmacked as CNN and the rest of the libtard editorial readers -- when the storm hits.

SMH... :-(

BTW, ignore that notebook... '-)
