The voting age should be increased to 25. And only lower than that if you were a person serving in the US Armed Forces. Former Navy Seals that serve as security for Michael Moore should be utterly ashamed of themselves. How much is their honor worth? Shame Shame Shame Shame

I have always thought the voting should be like in Heinlein’s Starship Troopers. You could add anyone who served in any branch of the military and maybe those who were under arms in police forces and the like, but you should only be allowed to vote if you have skin in the game.

A real Democracy is an ugly mob taking what it wants.

Minimum age to run for President is 35; nothing wrong with the voting requirement to be the same.

Voting requirements were set by the states. And, this seems reasonable. Except the Federal government is determined to take all the power for itself, as predicted.

While the Electoral College itself (And the Senate as well, don’t be fooled) is under attack by the Communists/Authoritarian/Crooks at the national level, the various states used to have the same arrangement as well if I remember correctly, an “Electoral College” based on the counties. The courts ruled this un-constitutional naturally.

Democracy is never once mentioned anywhere in the founding documents, nowhere - not in the Declaration, not in the Constitution or Bill of Rights. In fact, the entire separation of powers and administration of government between the states and the newly created Federal government was exactly to preclude “Democracy”.

Something happened that’s interesting, during World War II, to official Army training manuals. Around the time of World War I the official definition of Democracy was “promotes license and agitation, attitude towards property is communistic, results in mobocracy” etc etc. Harsh, no BS description of what “Democracy”. Then after the war, the definition was changed to some glowing mealy mouthed nonsense “The people decide” and it’s all unicorns and rainbows.

The bustout scam to unass Americans from their nation has been in full force for 100 years. Look what they’ve accomplished.
