He probably does not even have a drivers license.

Back in the day, we couldn’t wait to get a driver’s license and some of us were driving before getting one. Sadly, today’s kids are scared of driving. A small number in our kids’ graduating classes had them and most who did were pushed by their parents to get one. And this is a rural community so they have to have private transportation to get with their friends. Maybe it’s because everyone has a soccer mom who chauffeurs them to a dozen activities every day and caters to their every demand. Or if it is because they see so many in their schools die from texting or speeding or DUI. In one six weeks period, 7 from their HS died in 3 or 4 different accidents, two others later in an accident on our road and the list kept piling up whereas only one died from a DUI the whole time I was in school.
