Sorry. If seventeen of my neighbors a quarter-mile got whacked tonight...I would still be a bit shaken by the news.
These kids on Laura Ingraham’s show that night had icewater in their veins. It was not normal.

Well, perhaps you would. But, to my point, you likely wouldn’t have been nearly as shaken as any survivors from the house(s) where the actual whacking took place.
I was in a mass shooting in my building.
I think they sound like they were in one.
They are also young without other life experiences to shape their opinions.
I can’t imagine being a kid in a mass shooting. I can’t imagine having to go to school knowing classmates and teachers were killed.
I don’t agree with these kids, but I can empathize with them.
I had nightmares for weeks after the shooting (and randomly after that). You are mentally and emotionally drained.
I hate that the media is using these kids.
