The only definitive "proof" that he wasn't there are his own words in the Link to preview for CBS interview where he says he had to ride his bike three miles from home with his camera...

Not that I regard CBS as any great shakes with respect to accuracy, but hey, if that their petard, I am going to hoist them on it.

It may be that Hogg was trying to tell the CBS interviewer what he did after the shooting. But why would he have to go home to get a camera? He used his cellphone camera to make the earlier video interviews. Why wouldn't he just continue using the camera he already had with him?

His story about the motivation for his earlier video is strange as well. If you really thought you might not be alive in an hour would you make a video about gun control politics or express your personal feelings to friends and family?
