Then later that day, the DOJ issues a statement that says: "Today, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that the Department of Justice is proposing to amend the regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, clarifying that bump stocks fall within the definition of “machinegun” under federal law, as such devices allow a shooter of a semiautomatic firearm to initiate a continuous firing cycle with a single pull of the trigger."
No law, that is ATF regulation right there.
Trump has by fiat turned a legal firearm into a Class III weapon.
So, what evil people forced him to do that?
Most sane people do not give a s*** about bumpstocks. People I know who have tried them say they use up a lot of ammo very quickly and you can’t aim worth crap.
Big freaking deal, bump stocks.
