Theoretically there is enough lifeboat capacity for passengers and crew but realistically, let's face it, if the ship is going down, very few of the men are getting off. It's women and children first and by the time we get them loaded and in the water, there probably won't be time for the rest of us. So hopefully there's enough good bourbon on board so we can gallantly go to our deaths with a little dignity.

I look at lifeboats like I look at the seat cushions on airplanes: If it comes down using my seat as a floatation device, I'm pretty much screwed anyhow.
