Take a gander at the budget. NASA is a very tiny, tiny part of it. Your beef should be with all of the waste in the military (trust me, there is a lot - the defense companies and their bought and paid for critters in Congress waste a lot). It should be with all of the pet projects that only benefit a few people in some district or state that a critter in Congress is bribing for votes. It should be with the perks the Congressional critters vote for themselves.

If you don't America in space, don't you dare bitch when the Russians, Chinese, and Indians dominate it.
