I understand that better now.
The tagline context is that I had it for the 2nd Obama term, but it was in the present tense for obvious reasons.
Then when President Trump was elected, I put in the past tense. 😀
It's akin to:
Whoever mourns for Jerusalem will merit and see her future joy, and whoever does not mourn for Jerusalem will not see her future joy.
