Just hours after threatening a veto, President Trump said Friday afternoon that he had signed the sweeping $1.3 trillion spending bill passed by Congress early Friday and averted a government shutdown. In a morning tweet, Trump said he might veto the omnibus bill because it does nothing to address the fate of young undocumented immigrants known as dreamers and does not fully fund his border wall. But speaking to reporters at the White House about four hours later, Trump said he had decided to sign the bill despite his reservations, arguing that it provides much-needed funding for the military, including a pay increase for troops and new equipment.Just hours after threatening a veto, President Trump said Friday afternoon that he had signed the sweeping $1.3 trillion spending bill passed by Congress early Friday and averted a government shutdown.

Hate? Never. Just so sad & disillusioned. I am mild tempered enough to vote for him again — but the Congress & Senate guys — nope! the Dems will become the majority — between the voters & the voting fraud— we are done.
My remaining hope now is his base supporters still turn out in the midterms or we and our Republic are truly in trouble.

Well, turn out and vote for WHO? MORE scumbag Republicans? We have more than enough of them as it is.
Maybe it's just another episode from Season 18 of The Apprentice?
Therefore, be sure to tune in again next week at this same time on this same channel, to learn who's next to get fired and leave the island!
Until then, Happy Trails from Mark Burnett and company!
You are underestimating the President’s supporters just like the President. Some of are for real — not sheep.
Has this already passed the Senate? What was the vote? Surprised.
>> You are underestimating the Presidents supporters just like the President. Some of are for real not sheep <<
I’m not quite understanding.
Are you saying that once upon a time, you were a supporter — but because you are not a sheep, you are no longer a supporter?
Or are you saying that even though he underestimates you and considers you to be like a sheep, you still support him in a “happy” way?

How? Why would this bill be so popular? Surely Rand would vote it down?
Trump....just...broke.
There is always a choice unless you are a liberal _resident and want planned parenthood funded, the wall not built and illegals pouring into our country.
His choice was clear. He has lost his base and showed his true self
He got some bad advice from some one.
One round hair pulling match bought to you in 3D.
Or is that 4D "art of the deal" strategy at work. I am sure he is up to something. This is just a trick.
He did not use his real name when signing it.
A larger Republican majority is still better than a narrower one - let alone minority status. We need to vote Republican, however distateful, or Trump is finished.
President Trump is a master negotiator. He looked at this budget and realized, given this divided Congress, it was the best deal he was going to get while preserving his #1 priority, $700 billion for defense spending.
Sucks but there it is. Real world.
What will they do for us, hmmm?
Primary out any incumbent, then vote for the republican to take their place...
I am happy very happy for all our militarythat got raises for the first time in years. Truthfully they all deserve so much more .
I am not a fan of this OmnibusBill but I will be ok with it because it takes care of our Military .
Yes, and rather than have congress override his veto and own the piece of crap HE owns it.

I agree. Glad to see that you and a few others do understand.
Trump needs our support now more than ever to accomplish his agenda.
This is a six month bill, correct???
He said this wouldn’t happen again...
I give him the benefit...
