Thank you very much for the link on Gulf War 1. My son was also in the battle to take Iraq in 1991. He was 82nd Airborne and with an air mobile Sheridan tank unit. I think they attacked aside the west flank of the M1A1 Abrams. He sent many pictures. Several showed hundreds of Iraq soldiers lying on the ground to surrender as the Sheridans drove past them. I guess they were picked up by following units. He now has over 20 years, more recently in Special Forces with 2 tours in Afghanistan. I will be interested to get his thoughts on the McMasters/Bolton changeover.
