As long as we’re going in to clean out the Mullahs and end the threat, fine. But if we turn it into a freaking social experiment and have to go back in and retake already won ground, like Iraq. It would be neat if we had a foreign policy focused on keeping them over their to deal with their problems, or not. Just keep them over there.
I don’t know if the problem was McMaster or the fact he was unwilling to hire a MAGA staff. There were reports the NSC was full of Obama hold overs and he lied to POTUS about it. So naturally you get leaks like the Putin call when the WH staff is full of Never Trumpes and flat out Democrats.
