When My mom was at the airport waiting for me to come
in from Vietnam, the plane was late and she was upset
and crying. Bob Hope had just deplaned, saw her and
asked what was the matter. She told him and he told
her it was going to be all right and gave her a hug.
May God bless him and have mercy on his soul. He was a good man. I remember my mom being upset as we said goodbye to my brother at the airport as he was leaving for Vietnam
He survived but my uncle, a highly decorated captain, was killed there. What a waste of good men that war was.
