He grew up in Pflugerville which is a suburb NE of Austin. He lived near his parents there and his father is reported to have bought the house with him.
Driving into Austin, he’d take I-35 which is along where the bombs were placed, where he attended Austin Community College and Crux Semiconductor is 18 minutes from his house off I-35. So, he’s well familiar with the area.
