I’ve never defended Trump’s behavior. In fact, I’ve always thought he was a bit of a scumbag. He went on and on about lyin’ Ted, when he himself lies by reflex or simply just makes stuff up off the cuff.

But I don’t have a problem voting for him. Because the alternative is a Democrat. The Democratic party isn’t just liberal these days - it’s progressive, which is so far left, they needed a word other than liberal to describe it.

Pres Trump will always be successful at my primary reason for voting for him - He's not Hillary Clinton, and never will be. So, no matter what, he's always ahead of what might have been.

I don't particularly like the guy either. But, I don't need to marry him, and his personality isn't at issue. It's all about performance. I hired him to do a job - go to DC and start kicking things over, firing people left, right, and center, and tearing stuff out to the roots. IMO, so far, so good.

In 2020, I'll re-evaluate. But I don't think I'm going to change my mind. He's doing what I hired him to do, and I want him to keep it up.
