Yeah, but you can’t stop 263.6 million cars when one driver has a flaw, while you figure out how to prevent that flaw from occurring again. You can with the driverless cars, and they will get better and safer until they far surpass people.
I am not against technology—no, I am sitting in front of 6 computer displays and have ever tech device I can afford. The problem here is that the car is killing humans and will always do so; people will excuse it as the human’s fault. The misuse of the driverless car, so many possible ways, is completely unexplored. These should never be allowed on the road. Put them in a theme park, say Disney World and let them work the bugs out but not on our streets.
