80% of those who try to high-tail it out of DC to WVA with their kids and dogs won’t even make it halfway there. Those that do will be in neither place but out on the road in the open and will wish they had sheltered in place.
I’m watching this show called “Walking Dead”, which is essentially a survival show about a band of folks battling zombies and rival survival groups. It’s very brutal and savage.
Now take a brutal savage show like this, replace the zombies with wondering people just looking to steal food, and then having to fight off bands of para-military and you have a scenario that could easily develop if our system fails.
Point is, these rich people setting up these camps, even if they make it there they are still toast.
But like you said, they’d probably never make it there anyway.
