How? There is hardly the complement of German "alpha males" that there was in the Nazi era, since a great deal of them were killed off in WWII, and if we had a sane immigration policy, the Moslems over there could be prevented from coming over here. So a partial danger, but not necessarily fatal.
Those were not “alpha males”. No such people blindly follow an evil leader. There are the same kind of people as in the past, over there; far more professional soldiers than the press lets on about, albeit just as ready to “obey orders” as seven decades ago. Ruling by crisis is just that, and it’s always designed to get the people to demand a strong-man leader to “save” them.
