Being a vet from a family of generations of military including my son, I DID vote for Trump in part because of his promise to fund our military.
Our military is severely depleted. We have old ships and planes and not enough parts to keep them all running. Without a strong military, everything else is mute.
Trump is doing first things first. The wall funding will come with DACA. Trump will shame the Dems into it. He’s breaking up their base.

Whether you give up on Trump or not is not the issue. This has disappointed many in his base, voters who need to be motivated in Nov. We’re going to be crushed in the midterms not because the Dems will win but we will lose.
Thank the GOP establishment and Trump for not fighting for us on this monster bill. He’s been in the loop, was in on the deal and took it.
I’m not giving up either, just so dang mad that the 4 Stooges who conspired together to give us this whole sh*t-can of garbage, got away with it.
I know he sees the big picture and he told us today he is on to them, it’s that fool me one, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. He won’t be fooled again.
I think he will turn this around on them, if our side lets the GOPe and the dims make them so mad that they stay home, like in ‘06, then we all deserve to go down.
He says he won’t sign ANOTHER bill like this and I KNOW he means it!
