First to say the left does not have weapons is to underestimate them. I know plenty of people who lean left having weapons. You think Biden is an outlier for having a shotgun? Think again. This same logic had the north running from the battlefield in the first Bull Run. To which they ran ver their families who had come to picnic that day. Get to know the enemy and you will never underestimate them. They have weapons, case in point the YouTube HQ shooter. Because if they do not have weapons now they do have access to them when they will need them. They may be the anti-weapon crowd but a whole lot of them are armed to the teeth. You can take that to the bank and cash the check.
I dare say the left are even MORE willing to use weapons to take our lives than we are willing to take theirs.
However, their willingness to “fight” with said weapons is yet to be determined.
You will notice they NEVER say “we” will take away your weapons, or use similar language that would indicate taking personal responsibiity for performing the task, as opposed to the “from MY cold, dead hands,” mentality. Rather, they seem to always assume some heretofore unnamed, heavily armed agency will do the job for them.
The closest I’ve yet to see is the kerfluffle that democrat running for sheriff raised recently with his “okay.” crack. And at that, I can’t believe he ever envisions a situation where his deputies are being actively hunted by many times their number of resisters.
Despite the cool kit they’ve grown used to, at the end of the day these are still police officers, not soldiers. They aren’t going to take well to being ordered to their likely deaths, nor make their families into targets.
