Specifically with McCabe, he made the point: A lot of these things go to the last minute, because that is the way it is in Government bureaucracy in all things.

Some government entity will have 100 days to do something, it is never going to come in with time to spare and under budget. Never. It will take 99.999% of the allotted time, and cost four times as much, often never achieving the goals set out.

Sessions couldn’t have timed the firing this corrupt piece of lawyer dung any better. McCabe was expected to retire this Sunday, his 50th birthday, when he would have become eligible for full retirement benefits. Sessions’ decision to fire McCabe, who briefly served as the interim director of the FBI, will likely severely limit those benefits. McCabe needs 20 years of cage rest to follow, scratchy rope even better.

I've always defended AG Sessions as being very methodical and careful by-the-book. Nice to know that there's a good dollop of ruthless residing in that nerd exterior.
