I understand all that. But sessions didn’t do it to save his own skin. It doesn’t hurt his job security but he had no choice.

They don’t have jurisdiction over the president of the United States either. But that hasn’t stopped them from trying. They also think they have jurisdiction over the interpretation of the Constitution and the Supreme Court isn’t amused

Yes. I have been somewhat disheartened by that fact that he bald-face lied, to put it lightly. It was an in your face demonstration that laws are for the little people.
I have made the statement often that when we reached this state (long before McCabe even showed up on my radar) when the rule of law is openly no longer applied to everyone equally, we cease to be a Republic and we become a Banana Republic.
In the years leading up to the last election, I thought we had reached that point.

You're husband is right. If it appears that Sessions isn't doing his job, then criticism is appropriate.
Start with the Sessions recusal. Add to that, Sessions leaving Rosenstein in charge of Clinton "connected" matters.
If one doesn't complain about those things, then they are part of the problem.

They just said on Fox that 17 employees have been fired “due to lack of Candor” since 3/2017 and that those employees were not under oath.

Weren’t you the one that said Sessions had insinuated himself into the Trump campaign as a means of a control? This was after he first recused himself and singly-handidly gave legitmacy to the ‘russian collusion’ hoax...I thought that was a little far fetched at the time. Not anymore.
