Sessions may not mess with firing him as he probably has other things on his mind. I think Sessions himself is about to be fired - finally.
Trump is a bit slow on the draw but I think he has finally summoned the guts to fire Sessions as he cleans house. About time.
Then what? Rosenstein steps in?? Both dems and rhinos have stated they will not confirm another AG if Sessions is fired.

Behind Rosenstein there is a long line of swamp creatures if the POTUS fires Rosenstein. The only viable solution would be filling the AG vacancy with someone who has already been confirmed to another post. By then however, the dems, their media lap dogs, and several members of the GOPe will already be calling for the president’s head.
Like someone else mentioned, this is certainly the biggest mistake of DJT’s presidency, and he is locked into it. I personally think that Sessions is a big part of the “insurance policy” McCabe, Strzok, and Page spoke about.
