“many reports of voters who intended to vote for Saccone ending up casting a ballot for Lamb.”
I hope this is true and can be proved somehow. But if you saw your vote being stolen before your very eyes, would you have left the polling place without the vote being changed or your hands in chains? Are systematic records kept of complaints during the voting day?
Many voters are not paying close enough attention as they vote. It is an unfamiliar task for most.
Some voting machines display a tally after the voter is finished and the machine asks for confirmation. I have seen many voters leave the voting booth after they finish voting but before this tally is displayed. In that case, the voting place worker would touch the ‘Agree’ button so the machine could be reset for the next voter.
