Heh, what you said outlines the issue with the complete ludicrousness of their approaches to solving many problems!

See, if Phyllis Schlafly were alive today, she would have got right to the root of that problem by by using the Socratic approach, then would have said (in a far shorter time than you or I would have) “Well, if that is your stance, you will have to outlaw all rocks, including those above and below the ground...”

(THAT was how she defeated the Equal Rights Amendment nearly singlehandedly...)
