They aren’t even Jewish. We already know the Law was given to the Jews. The current outreach of salvation to Gentiles is an anomaly in the larger plan.

Some of the commandments are “nice things to do” but aren’t even in the more fundamental Noahide law which DOES apply to all Noah’s descendants.

God really doesn’t get a big tickle out of hypocrisy, let alone pretending up to a level that wasn’t even called for.

wow- judgemental much? So lemme get this straight- you think that if a person can’t keep all the 10 commandments perfectly, then they shouldn’t cite them at all? Lol- whatever! So i guess we’re to keep our mouths shut about God because we can’t be perfectly holy eh? Lol- keep on judging

The government has nothing to do with it- private citizens would be donating the material- and kids would be exposed to it or ignore it as they pleased- God and Christian morals were taught in schools for a long time- then atheists kicked Him out- and society degraded into a stinkfest- and you object to bringing Him back in again?

[[The school can’t actually enforce several of the 10 Commandments.]]

The objective is not for the school to enforce the rules, but to give students guidelines to live by

Wow- Nope- God doesn’t like hypocrisy- however He DOES appreciate that Christians try to live to please Him through help by the Holy spirit- EVEN IF they fail to do so perfectly-

going by what you say- every pastor out there, because they can’t live a perfectly moral life, should keep their mouth shut, and never advocate or proclaim the word of God because they are hypocrites who sin? Moses shouldn’t have led his people because He too was a sinner? How about Aaron? Who made the golden calf for the people to worship? Should he have never said anything or proclaimed God’s word because he was a ‘hypocrite’ in your eyes?

Should we even be listening to you because you are a hypocrite who doesn’t toe the moral line perfectly? Will God be comparing your heart to what you say too because your mouth gets ahead of your soul? Maybe noone should ever say, or do anything regarding religious stuff because we aren’t perfect eh? (Thankfully we ARE made perfect through the blood of the Lamb and thankfully God uses IMPERFECT people to get His perfect word out there so that others can come to Christ- Thankfully God doesn’t expect perfect moral uprightness in order to help spread His word around- otherwise His word would never be spoken of)

GENERALLY, every competent pastor always prays for forgiveness of his own sins before he speaks.

Does an inanimate hunk of paper do this? Do the publishers of it do this? Maybe if they did, they would begin to think.

And exactly where do we hear about this “blood of the Lamb” in a Ten Commandments poster?

Uncommonly like zero.

It would be better to put up crosses.

And exactly why should these increasingly useless hunks of parchment be coveted by these honorable rednecks?

Does every woman and transvestite need their own poster for international women’s day?

you missed the point entirely evidently-

[[It would be better to put up crosses.]]

Yes by golly- stick only to things that don’t include the Words of God- we can’t put up anything that speaks to individuals through God’s word because after all, we’re all just imperfect and hypocrites- have a nice day-

[[Does an inanimate hunk of paper do this?]]

Are you suggesting that God’s word is powerless? Are you suggesting it is made powerless because a publisher might sin? God’s word will not return void- The Spirit listeth where it will- You and I can not tell when an unsaved person will be moved by God’s word- Yet you seem to suggest that the words of God are powerless because they are nothing more than ‘useless parchments’ printed out by fallible man.

Many many people have become saved via tracts printed by sinner saved by grace-

[[GENERALLY, every competent pastor always prays for forgiveness of his own sins before he speaks.]]

And yet they keep committing the same sins over and over again- and in your mind that makes them hypocrites? Christian pulishers, and those who distribute the material are no different than pastors- They ask for forgiveness as well- but perhaps you believe they don’t ask it enough? Or not completely therefore they can’t possibly be used by God?

Again- Thank God that He uses imperfect man to get His perfect word out to the lost- Thank God that ‘useless parchments’ have been used all down through the as to convict the unsaved and move them towards salvation- Thank God that we don’t have to be perfect- otherwise His word could never be put forth- Thank God that little Johnny, new to the faith, and not mature enough to recognize all the various ways he sins, is still able to Give out God’s word and sit back and watch as God’s word empowers others to become saved. Thank God that little Johnny, in his imperfect state, is able to be used by God mightily=- and thank God that His word will NOT return void

I guess when the legislature in Arkansas pass that law you'll have a live question on your hands.

Since they took on this god poster issue, I'm betting they'll eventually be pressed to accommodate every tax payer in Arkansas that worships a different god, unless the law specifies Yahweh.

I see. So we could post them next to say a poster of the food pyramid, which has guidelines for healthy eating. Perhaps something else related to physical fitness Nd health. Things like take the stairs instead of the elevator, cough onto you elbow, wash your hands after using the bathroom, etc.

Which God does that refer to since you seem to feel it is exclusionary?

Your no god god can be included in reading that.

Since “god is nothing” just substitute the meaning as “nothing”.

The law uses the singular form of the noun. So, either you believe the law is exclusionary, or you believe Jesus, Allah, Vishnu, Gaia, etc, are all the same god.

In Arkansas, only 18.9% of the high school students go on to earn a college degree.

You say that like it's a bad thing... Why? What does a degree mean anymore? It is the new High School diploma, only a lot more expensive. Better for most to learn a trade, the happiest people I know are mechanics, plumbers, electricians and carpenters, farmers, and the like. They have fancy cars, a lot of friends, good cook-outs, and nice houses. And they take nice vacations. They have an earned sense of self-worth. What your statement indicates is the Arkansas is a very happy State.

Is yours the concept of zero god and are you pissed off at having to hear ANY reference that is contrary to your view that there is a God.
