No way. I have to drive home from work in darkness 7 months a year as it is now; if I had to do that for 10 months a year, I might not survive it.
Permanent DST? Yes, more please. The only useful daylight for me during the entire calendar year is from 7:00pm until sunset.

"Agree. We want to rid ourselves of Daylight Saving Time, not keep it around permanently." The problem isn't ST (standard time) or DST (daylight savings time).....it is switching from one to the other. Pick one and stick with it year-round. I don't much care which one.
