Families of two people killed by package bombs left on their doorsteps in Austin knew each other and were connected through local activism in the black community, a civic leader said Tuesday... Investigators have said the three blasts that killed two people and wounded two others could have been hate crimes since all the victims were black or Hispanic. But they also said they have not ruled out any possible motive. Draylen Mason, 17, was killed and his mother wounded when a package bomb was opened Monday in their kitchen. The teen's grandfather is Norman Mason, a prominent dentist in east Austin. He was friends with Freddie Dixon, stepfather of 39-year-old Anthony House, who died in a similar attack in another part of the city on March 2, said Nelson Linder, president of the Austin chapter of the NAACP.

The Cop at the News Conference said it should be noted that all the Victims were of “color”. He is already stirring the Pot.
It must be noted that most of the Victims of violent Crime are the same color as their Attackers, Black.
In this case it must be a White Trump / NRA Supporter who couldn’t pass a Background Check to get an AR-15 to do the deed.
I had not heard that, but if they were remotely detonated then I should think it a lot more likely that the intended target was hit in each case.

Does anyone remember Wayne Williams. He was the notorious Atlanta serial killer who killed many blacks and whose crimes were attributed to the KKK and other white supremacists until he was arrested to the chagrin of many.
This is “East Austin” so it’s mainly blacks and Hispanics. Due to the very high cost of housing and the huge influx of invaders to Austin (invaders from CA, Hispanic sh!tholes, ME), whites have been remodeling old houses there. If Amazon picks Austin as their HQ, the housing costs will go even more insane.

The victims didn’t know each other. Their relatives knew each other. The teen’s grandfather knew the first guy’s stepfather or some such but there’s no connection so far to the third. Of course, there would be a Kevin Bacon connection living in the same neighborhood forever.
No, they’re supposedly detonated by a flip switch upon opening the package. Don’t quote me on the name of the switch because I don’t know a thing about explosives.
Bet this puts a stop to package thieves for a while.

Nobody talks about how the Hispanics harassed the blacks in Compton, CA, (and several other calif towns) forcing them out in fear for their lives. Is the same thing happening in Austin?
