I agree about the term squaw but everyone familiar with history knows that for years many friends and supporters of Native Americans (and even Native Americans) used that term as one might say “Senorita” or “Fräulein” not knowing the history of the word. Seeing it’s use growing up I assumed the same although I didn’t like the term myself and never used it. It just didn’t sound right.

Her grandparents got married in a large Presbyterian church a few towns over and then came back for a large wedding reception. There was a front page account of it in the local paper. Breitbart found it. Thanks to the local library.
