Many many voters do not associate president with party. Just us diehards on the right and left do. Obama got elected twice but Dems lost House and Senate during his terms.
Trump will win PA in 2020 but it doesn’t mean all those Dems and Indies that vote for him will vote for other Republicans. They view him independently.
The democrat ran on the Trump agenda..might be better than the GOP guy...If the democrat wins it is only it January..he is not living in the new district..it is gone
