Look at how corporate America rallied around a Communist holiday last week (international women’s day).
There is no celebration honoring our Constitution. No celebration honoring our liberties. Fourth of July to celebrate our Independence hasn’t been celebrated that way for a long time. Fireworks and hot dogs and a day off in summer (maybe with an outdoor concert). Some red white and blue trim in advertising is about it.
I wonder how many people know what the Fourth of July is about?
If I were a teacher I would give short quizzes on American history for extra credit.
